    Information about some old, new, and upcoming Summoner Weapons in Summoner Mode.

    And I did some research on the Global names of all the weapons and EX names to make it easier for Global Players. I also decided not to include some weapons like the Claws because they're not obtainable in Global.

    I'll be updating this as more weapons are released/updated or when certain unobtainable weapons become obtainable.

    For fusing ghosts and crystals into the weapon:
    Metal Ghost = 5 EXP Normal Fusion, 7 EXP Great Success, 10 EXP Super Success = 2,000 Zel each
    Metal King = 50 EXP Normal Fusion, 75 EXP Great Success, 100 EXP Super Success = 20,000 Zel each
    Metal God = 250 EXP Normal Fusion, 375 EXP Great Success, 500 EXP Super Success = 100,000 Zel each
    Metal Crystal = 750 EXP Normal Fusion, 1125 EXP Great Success, 1500 EXP Super Success = 300,000 each

    Question, can summoners obtain more than two Ex Skills, or is there some type of limit?

    You can have as many EX skills as you want, but you can only equip two.

    Weapon skills are just automatically active when you have the weapon equipped, you don't need to equip those skills.

    The summoner can get all the Ex Skills however, the summoner is limited to choosing only 2 to use.

    All the weapons have uses and eventually you will want to maximize them all and try them out. They help to round out a squad that is limited to a few units, so you can bring in boosts that is otherwise lacking. Most commonly I am using Pistols with the EX from Greatsword and Pistols. I figure Spark damage will become more useful as we get more units unlocked, and the 15% stats from Greatsword is a good overall option.

    Personally I don't think you'll want to max out 'ALL' of the weapon considering the MASSIVE amount of investments you'll have to put in even just to max out one weapon. At most you probably want to raise them up to Lvl 15 for the interchangeable EX Skills. As for your main weapons to max out, one or two are usually sufficient. If you really want to be efficient with your resources, raise two weapons with the EX Skill you want to use and then focus on one weapon to max out. That one weapon is usually based on how it synergize with available units or based on preference.

    Having one high level weapon is usually better stat-wise than having multiple of low/medium level weapons since you can't really use ALL of them at once. Unless of course if Alim decides to introduce weapon change in battle one day. :p

    My current weapon of choice is Spear (lvl 26) with Spear+Scythe EX Skill. They stack well with the weapon skill making my summoner unit extra tanky for any hard contents. Scythe is my secondary weapon when I use units like Libera together. I've skipped Pistols and Greatsword for now as they don't really fit well with my units. Looking forward to dual sword and katana for the next SM update.

    Not sure if we're collecting information for these still. But, I maxed out my scythe today.
    Stats are HP +653/Atk +1000/Def +405/Rec +609 at current max (30).

    Also for the level 25 weapon skill, the attack boost seemed to be ~30% after ~20 HC collected. This is a rough estimate on the crystals collected, but the numbers on attack boost seem to be more accurate. When I finally got it to activate it boosted my summoner's attack from 4669 -> 6043

    I said eventually you will want to max them so that your summoner can fill a hole that your units may not be able to provide. I completely agree with you that you should choose a "main" weapon and also be sure to get the EX of every weapon. In my case, I am going pistols due to the extra spark damage, which will become more useful as we unlock more units. I don't use spear or greatsword because I use units that can give Atk/Def (i.e. Pamela). But I do use the Greatsword EX (15% stats is nice).

    The max stats for the first couple of weapons only reflect their lvl.20 version.

    Since the cap is 30, Spear's max stats are now:

    HP:1011
    ATK: 295
    Def: 464
    REC: 464

    I think it's mostly the map 1 weapons that needs to be updated. (sword, spear, axe).

    There's also a lvl cap increase when map 3 hits, so current weapons will need updated info to show max lvl (40?) stats once it hits global.

    The link now takes you to the latest update for the Ohbanahara map.

    Long story short: weapons obtained earlier give you lower summoner stats when maxed then the newer weapons. However, some of them have strong weapon EX skills. Spear at lvl 40 gives the best defensive EX with HP/DEF 25% with chance of additional 15% mitigation (vs. Greatsword at 40 that gives same HP/DEF with Guard Mitigation). Or take both to have your squads be super tanky for some EX dungeons.

    I'm excited to max twin pistols and add both +Spark EX skills onto Twin Swords. Spark damage will become more of a factor as more unit slots get unlocked. Otherwise the Katana should be one of the best weapons with the BB mod and Def ignore and the highest attack.
